That gives us an outfield bench of Snodgrass, Ferghouli, Callieri, Reid or Nortveidt, Edin Terkic and Doris the tea lady.
No injuries hopefully....

Assuming Arbeloa doesn't come in from the cold (again) w have no right back. Not even Antonio. Nortveidt has been so useless there as to not be an option, but given the lack of other available bodies he is going to have to play.
Therefore it's got to be a back 3 with wingbacks as a makeshift right back is less isolated there than as a proper full back. Fernandes has the pace and energy to be the best of a limited set of options and has done ok out wide before.
Nortveidt therefore comes into the midfield, as if he has to play then let's at least give him the best possible chance to be less than awful by putting him in his proper position. That's unless Reid is fit to start in which case Kouyate can have that midfield slot with Nortveidt on the bench.
Ayew and Sakho are the only options up front assuming Bilic doesn't go full on mental and start Callieri. I always find 3/5 at the back a bit stale with one up front so that's what I woild go for. The only real alternative is swapping one of them for Snodgrass or Ferghouli and neither of them are exactly crying out to show what they can't offer. And as for either of them at right wing back...please God no.
Ayew and Sakho COULD actually work quite well ala Sakho and Valencia. Could. Maybe. Perhaps.
3 up front is a fucking myth. We've never played it, as you can put Lanzini and Snodgrass wherever you want on a graphic but they're not forwards and never have been.
Therefore...
Adrian (but it will be Randolph)
Kouyate/ Reid Collins Fonte
Masuaku Fernandes
Noble Nortveidt/ Kouyate Lanzini
Ayew Sakho
It's not exactly going to get the ghost of Duxbury shouting 'that's Champions League', but it's not awful.

Instead of paying my mortgage this month, I'm just gonna stick the entire lot on Lukaku to score first and then pay off 4 months of the fucker when it comes in!!!

Whoever is fit!!!!
Maybe go a 3-1-5-1 with Fernandes and Masuaku as wing backs or something.
-----------------------------Adrian----------------------- ----------------Fonte------Reid----------Collins------ ---------------------------Nordtveit----------------------- Fernandes--Kouyate--Lanzini----Ayew---Masuaku ---------------------------Sakho---------------------------
That's assuming Noble, Carroll, Cresswell, Antonio and Obiang are all unfit rather than can't be bothered!!

I'm with Hugh - though would have one more on the bench.
Time for Nordveit to play in his preferred position
That said I think the only highlight this Saturday will be seeing the boy's pic in the programme and hearing his birthday greeting at half time.

That may have been me... I took a Rangers (Glasgow) supporter with me to that match. For some reason that result got to me more than any result at home in 30 years of going to Upton Park.
I repeatedly kicked all the chairs around me over and over after the final whistle and then just sat in silence for ages until me and my mate were the last people in the ground.
He then mumbled something sounding a bit frightened about maybe we should leave. He's never been to another match with me.
I didn't actually smash the chair up though so maybe it was someone else.
West upper if I recall correctly.

I recall our 2-2 with Everton after being 2-0 up with a penalty as well, missed by Kitson who wasn't the penalty taker but was on a hat trick. Ferguson equalized in the last minute, making the bloke next to me smash his seat up, can be heard on 96 season dvd
